Duftwolke

Ephemeral phenomena such as scents and clouds are captured in ceramic objects. A poetic gesture between material, transience, and our perception.

The ceramic has an integrated thread, allowing it to be screwed onto standardized bottles. By shaking, the oil mixture is transferred from the bottle to the low-fired, porous ceramic, which subtly diffuses the fragrance. After neutralizing the ceramic in the oven at 50 degrees, a refilled bottle can be screwed on. The product has been designed to turn a disposable item into a reusable dispenser for a car or other small spaces.
