The project "Lost & Found - Fragments of the Franconian Cultureā explores the transformation of the cultural elements of Franconia from culinary and ceramic art to the present day. Old, almost forgotten elements are taken up and made visible in a new staging by setting them in a current context. In cooperation with the chef Nathalie de Hartog, an experience between dishes, food and people is developed.
The result is a five-course menu, consisting of an eight-part service in relation to the served food. The individual parts of the service are made of porcelain and glass. The white porcelain plays with the haptical and optical contrast of glazed and bisquit. Besides the geometric, clean appearance the service ist designed with a general relief made of ridges which is used in every course in different ways. The concept of this collaboration was realized in the context of a Supper Club.
This tableware should inspire chefs to generate new ideas and dishes. Links between the food and the tableware are created in new ways.
